The small diameter tray creates a suppository that is about the size of a marble. I'm thankful I didn't purchase the large size especially when I was first using it because the pain from my fissure would've not felt good when inserting the suppository. I used one nightly and it was the perfect size and very soothing. I think this helped the most in my healing.

I prefer the small size for hemorrhoids.  It concentrates the recommended essential oils.  It works great for soothing the external ones and easy to insert until this issue resolves.
